U.S. Cahaba Land Office - Register of lots sold in the towns of Claiborne, Jackson and Wetumpka, 1820-1836.

This volume contains a register of lots sold in the towns of Wetumpka, 1832-1836; Jackson, 1820-1823; and Claiborne, 1820 Nov. 6-11. Each list records the date of the sale, the receipt number, the name and county of residence of the purchaser, the name of the town in which the lot was purchased, the number of the lot, the quantity of land sold, the amount of purchase money in stock and cash and the total purchase price. These registers document early town development in Ala.
